The ambient AI scribe that writes notes and orders directly into any EHR.

Eleanote listens during the visit, drafts the note the way you write it, and types the note, diagnoses, and orders straight into your EHR — no copy‑paste, no integration, no IT project. It runs on your own laptop, using the laptop's microphone for recording, and learns from your feedback.

Quality notes

Notes you control, completely.

Eleanote is built around one obsession: notes that come out right. You program exactly how yours are written — structure, tone, phrasing, saved text — and correct anything in plain language. The goal: notes that need minimal edits, in your voice.

Any EMR

Works with any EMR — even in remote sessions.

No integration, no IT project — eleanote types into whatever EHR you already use, even remote desktops. It precharts from the chart to add context, enters diagnoses and orders, and pastes the note with your formatting — whole, or section by section into separate fields.

Privacy & security

Patient privacy is the architecture.

How patient information is handled was the first design decision, not the last. Every safeguard below is documented and independently reviewed.

BAAs with every partner

Every transcription and AI partner is bound by a Business Associate Agreement to handle PHI only to provide their service, protected in accordance with HIPAA.

Never used for AI training

Patient information is never used to train AI models and never used for research. Full stop — it's in every agreement.

No clinical content stored

Audio and notes pass through transiently. Eleanote's servers keep account and usage records — never patient charts.

Independently attested

A third party has reviewed the safeguards protecting this information. The HIPAA security attestation is public — read it yourself.

Questions

What providers ask first.

Will it work with my EHR?
Yes — any EHR. Eleanote runs on your laptop, not inside the EHR, and transfers text the same way you would: through the keyboard. There's no interface to build and no EHR‑side integration project. If you can type into it, Eleanote can write into it.
Is patient information safe?
Every transcription and AI partner is bound by a Business Associate Agreement, PHI is never used to train AI models or for research, and Eleanote's servers store account and usage records — never clinical content. An independent third party has reviewed these safeguards; the HIPAA security attestation is public.
What does it cost?
Nothing while it's in beta. When Eleanote launches commercially, the plan is a simple flat monthly subscription with no per‑note charges — and beta users get plenty of notice before billing begins.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows laptop (Windows 10 or 11) or a Mac (macOS 12 or later). The Windows version installs from the Microsoft Store; the Mac version is a direct download. Get either from the download page.
How does it learn my style?
Give feedback on any note — in plain language, right in the moment — and Eleanote applies it going forward. Combined with your templates and saved text, notes converge on your voice quickly, usually within the first handful of visits.
Do I need permission from my IT department?
Nothing is installed on or connected to the EHR itself, so there's no integration to approve. If your organization manages your laptop, you may still need its standard approval to install desktop software — providers in independent practice typically just install and go.
How is this different from other ambient scribes?
Some ambient scribes do write into the EHR — through integrations that typically mean enterprise contracts, IT departments, and months of setup. Eleanote delivers the same workflow advantages — the note, diagnoses, and orders entered directly into the EHR — with no integration at all: it runs on your laptop and types the way you would. That puts an integrated‑scribe workflow within reach of independent practices from day one.
